I have worked with Childline, and the listening ear both organisations catering to young adult and teenage mental health issues. Here I worked both online and face-to-face on childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, eating disorders, suicidal ideation, stress and self-esteem. I have also done some work with Fatima Memorial Hospital and currently am working with Well minds online dedicated to providing available and affordable counselling via phone and video call. Here individuals often came with issues around Racism, trauma, sexuality, divorce, gendered expectations, parenting OCD and bereavement. I am also currently working with Actsfast a charity that helps families impacted by child sexual abuse and indecent images working on everything from relationship issues, Sexual abuse and trauma to low self-worth, family conflict and infidelity. I also aim to raise awareness on mental health issues around Developing Countries. I am currently completing a paper on gender issue in Pakistan / Afghanistan / India and the correlation it has on the reluctance to seek therapeutic support.
